Parent-child audio-guide device
The audio guide is for children aged from 7 to 12 years and great for parents and kids.
- Language of the guide：Available in Mandarin Chinese.
- Rental location：Audio tour counter on the second floor of the museum.
- Tour fee：$80(Currency: NTD)
- Audio guide rental：Visitors may go to the Multimedia Guide on the 2F for the audio-guide rental services with a deposit of a valid identity document or NTD 1,000. Visitors may retrieve the document or the cash deposit after returning the device.
Personal audio-guide device
To provide personalized tours, visitors can rent a compact audio guide device, look at the exhibits based on your interest and pace, and listen to the explanation of the relics.
- Language of the guide：Available in Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese, Hakka, English, Japanese and Korean.
- Rental location：Audio tour counter on the second floor of the museum.
- Tour fee：$120(Currency: NTD)
- Audio guide rental：Visitors may go to the Multimedia Guide on the 2F for the audio-guide rental services with a deposit of a valid identity document or NTD 1,000. Visitors may retrieve the document or the cash deposit after returning the device.
- Accessible tour：
- Available in visually-impaired (verbal imaging) and hearing-impaired (sign language) versions.
- Visitors with disability card and one accompanying person may use this service free of charge.
Group audio guide device (a master set + earpiece receivers)
To enhance the tour quality and maintain a quiet, comfortable environment in the exhibition, we have fully implemented the group audio guide system since July 1, 2007. A group of ten visitors and above who purchased the group ticket (applicable to student group visits) must use the group audio guide. A speaker and multiple receivers will be provided for the group audio tour. The tour guide carries a speaker and microphone. Each visitor carries a receiver and earphones. The tour guide talks gently and tourists can hear him clearly. By using the speaker and receiver for the group audio tour, the tour guide can keep his voice down and the exhibition will be quiet and makes visitors feel comfortable.
- Tour fee：$30(Currency: NTD)
- Audio guide rental：To maintain a quality and quiet visiting environment, groups of 10 or more shall use the group audio guide system. The devices shall be returned together after use.
- For groups without tour guides：Tour guides will talk through the master set and microphone, while group members receive the messages from the earpieces. For groups without tour guides, a personal audio guide device will be provided.
