National Palace Museum Library

Library of the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum The Asian Art & Culture Information Center of the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum is a special library used as the data center for Asian and Taiwanese culture, art books and digital multimedia. This data center provides information on exhibits, exhibition organizing and education promotion for our staff studying exhibition organization. The public may also read the information on Asian arts and culture in this data center.

Introduction of Space

The data center is on the 3rd floor of Feibai Hall and its area is 1,104.86 m2. It is at a great location, has an elegant environment, great lighting and ventilation, and it is convenient.

The data center has complete fire safety, security, air conditioning, surveillance, lighting, book collection, equipment and Wi-Fi. We request for a greater budget and buy books, IT equipment, bookshelves, collection cabinets, self-service kiosks and e-book mobile devices every year.

Our space is divided into the stack, reading room, journal and newspaper section, multimedia exhibition room, study room, online resource searching area, book circulation counter, administration area and new book section. It is convenient for users to check out our collection and use our space.

We have 66 seats for reading and 15 of them are for information lookup.
