Ticket Prices

Individual visitors (groups of 9 or less) may purchase the tickets at Tickets & Multimedia Guide on weekdays. However, it is highly recommended that visitors make online reservations for visits on weekends and holidays to save time from queuing up for the tickets. To maintain premium visiting quality, groups of 10 or more shall make reservations in advance. For reservation, please click here. Ticket Office Hours: 08:45 ~ 16:30

  • Visitors of all nationalities. For groups of 10 or more, there will be an additional NT$ 30 for the audio guide device.  
  • The ticket fares do not include special exhibitions.
  • Payment methods: cash, credit cards, Easy Card and iPass. (Credit cards: VISA, MASTER, JCB and Union Pay)

 

  • The Taiwan Alliance of Museums Discount:
    By presenting the ticket stub or membership card of any one of the following museums (i.e., National Museum of Marine Science & Technology, National Taiwan Science Education Center, National Taiwan Museum, National Museum of History, National Museum of Natural Science, National Science and Technology Museum, and National Museum of Prehistory), visitors can purchase National Palace Museum Northern and/or Southern Branch tickets at a 20% discount. Please note that the ticket stub and membership card must be from the same year.

Ticket Refunds

  • Unused tickets may be returned for full refunds; no processing fees will be charged.
  • Used tickets cannot be returned for refunds.
  • Lost, damaged, burned, and/or unrecognizable tickets cannot be reissued and/or returned to be exchanged.
